Christopher D. Childers is one of the most exciting and dynamic visionaries for Direction and Choreography in the US today. His unique style was developed after working with famous directors, explosive choreographers, and prestigious companies. Twyla Tharp, Jerome Robbins, Madonna, Cirque du Soleil, Tony Kaye, Sam Raymi, Franco Dragone, and others, are some of the talents he has been priviledged to worked with. Eight years with Cirque du Soleil, and now in his current position as "Artistic Coordinator" for Le Reve, the spectacular show at Wynn Las Vegas, helped fine tune his vision as a Director and Choreographer.
His unique take on choreographic movement spans the oceans, and includes live stage shows, special events, Industrials, and Commercials. Christophers' most recent project was at the M resort in Las Vegas, for McAfee. Entitled DREAM, he created 2 original poolside shows, featuring the talents from Le Reve. In 2009, he Directed and Choreographed RCCL's first water show on board the worlds' largest Cruise Ship, Oasis of the Seas. The show "Oasis of Dreams" is currently open and running to rave reviews. Christopher was chosen by Director Sam Raymi to choreograph and design Spiderman's web-slinging and wall-climbing segments for the first Spiderman movie. When the films' choreography was given to the stunt team, Christopher was asked to come and coach the stunt man who would be Toby Maguires' double. He is also the Director and Choreographer for the Sandcastle dinner theater, on Saipan and Guam, USA. The shows features acrobats from China, world class magic, contortionists, tigers and dancers from all over the world. Christopher is also recently featured in an upcoming feature film, "Move" where he speaks about his work with Madonna.
